I am hoping the image to the left will serve as my excuse for not having a more substantive post today! It is my To Do List for this week. And it has now gone over into three columns. I would like to get it back to two columns. And as you see not enough is crossed off at this point. Here’s hoping I can catch up a little this weekend. We have no plans and that actually makes me very happy!
One task I’ve finally completed is formatting the paperback version of Lord Langdon’s Kiss. It’s now available at Amazon and Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo and Smashwords.
“Lord Langdon’s Kiss is a fine Regency romp that will satisfy lovers of the genre like ice-cold lemonade on a hot afternoon. This is what Regency romance is all about.” (Four hearts) — The Romance Reader
Now I am back to trying to cross off some more tasks, so I can get back to writing again!
In the meantime, for the chance to win an autographed paperback of Lord Langdon’s Kiss, let me know one or more items from your To Do List–the most pleasant, the most onerous, or the funniest.
Enter between now through Thursday, May 29th. I’ll announce the winner next Friday, May 30th. You must be over 18 to enter.

my “real” to do list or my “I wish I could get to it ” to do list????
I prefer the latter, but on my real list is finalizing spreadsheets for Girl Scout day camp for campers, adults, youth staff, pixies, boys, and committee. I’ve been chasing a moving target for 6 weeks, reworking and adjusting and pestering, and tonight at 8pm, the target stops. Looking forward to calling it FINALIZED. Wish me luck!
Good luck, Theresa! But I know you will do it.
Good luck. To Do Lists rank with with Around-to-its and tomorrows..the list grows (a magic fairy waves her wand and it grows like a bean stock or Rapunzel’s hair)
You are so right! Just when I think I can’t handle any more, something breaks around the house, like my stupid printer last week. It is a very evil fairy at work!
The biggest item on my to do list right now is finishing my bathroom floor redo. You wouldn’t think putting down sticky tile would take so long, but it’s amazing how long you can stretch it out when you don’t really want to work on it. I have to patch subfloor, sand, use special floor primer, then put the tile down and grout it. And then I’m never redoing the floor again. The bathroom floor, at least. Kitchen floor still needs all the same work and then some.
I’m exhausted just listening to this. Good luck!
To do list this week-end plant flowers
That’s a nice one! I’ve been planning to put in my annuals soon as I think we’re FINALLY past the risk of frost.
I soooooo excited I’m gonna clean 3 cat pans. … Yay me
I think that even beats unclogging the bathroom drain. 🙂
Gee, Mary Ellen, cat pan cleaning is on my list too, but I only have to do one.
Bathe a vicious chihuahua and an obese basset hound is on that list as well.
Then finish the next chapter of my Christmas novella.
We lead such exciting lives. LOL
Bathing a vicious chihuahua sounds like you’re living dangerously. Have fun with the novella!

To make room for more books?
I love a good To Do list!
I often have a daily list or a weekly list, jotted on the back of an envelope. Go to gym, rewrite Ch 2, etc.
I then have a masterlist of stuff to be accomplished long-term (like, months or within the year–aka finish book edits so I can send it to an agent)
Then I have The Plans. I have a 5 year plan, a 10 year plan, a 20 year plan, a 50 year plan and a Thousand Year Plan. These are my to do list for my life.
I may complain about it being too long, but I love my list too. I have a Master List, too. The list keeping helps with my stress level, because there’s no way I could remember everything. Checking the list at the beginning of each week is a way for me to think about how to spend my time wisely on the most important things.
